Wow, that's a bit racist on their part (the bw who complained). Being upset over a hot guy on the cover of a magazine because he's dating a white woman. That's just sad.

Actually, 1492 is the wrong year to use. Yeah, the Portuguese and Spanish had some African slaves, but they did it because of religion rather than race.

Beyond that nitpick, I have to say that many people are insane. Debating racists will teach you that pretty quickly. That behavior started, of course, with racist white men. From the 1800s and until recent times, having relationships with black men was the absolute worst thing a white woman could do. White men went to great lengths to prevent such occurrences. In fact, the most popular justification for Jim Crow and for generalized racial bigotry was ,"Do you want your daughter to marry a nigger?" Being called a "nigger lover" was the worst insult you could tell a white person.

And then reading the comments on anything that has to do with BM/WF IR just confirms to me that many of those people are just batshit insane.
