As it was said in the film American Me,"Lost it all in juvie hall." This is an extreme method of power. But in a school setting, especially high school, I would be scared if I did not know how to defend myself(we did not have this problem in my high school).
They are crossing the line. That is not in the spirit, I don't think. The sad thing about power, is that it is arousing,self-serving and addictive. It functions in many ways. And it has been used in many areas of life(politics, business, social interactions, etc) It exposes truth as well as weakness. It is, for all intents and purposes, a weapon. Associate power with knowledge, and it becomes something(almost)all encompassing. And no weapon, outside of a gun, knife, or a nuclear bomb can do just as much damage to an individual than sexual contact, be it consensual or forced(rape). This is knowledge for either a consensual partner or the aggressor to use. A lot of things can be learned through a sexual encounter. And that knowledge can be used against a person.
