Until we actually have a "qualified" black president in the white house, I won't be satisfied..

that would be pretty trippy tho...

lots of people say that it just can't be done

Personally, I dont care if its Hillary or Obama as long as there's a Democrat in the White House.

However, what would really excite me is if whoever won between Hillary and Obama, they asked to other to run on the ticket with them to be vice-president.

either way, it would be historical...

reminds me of when Dungy and Lovie Smith were playing against each other in the superbowl...

either way, history would be made, regardless of who won or loss..

It won't excite you once you find out how short they will come up on un-doing all the damage not only Bush has done lately but the damage done since the 1970s!

Look how can people be so BLINDED?

Let's say for the sake of argument that the economy is the #1 when in actuality is the WAR because we spend $24 Billion (with a B) a DAY in Iraq ALONE of BORROWED money; problem.

Do you know what Clinton and Obama wanna do to fix the problem?

Give you tax cuts - Oh JOY!

Give you between $650-800 for single people - And that helps HOW?

A freeze on Motgage Rates - Only matter if you own property

Emergency Funding for Home Owners - Again only if you own property

Now Jellybird, think about what your saying, is ANY thing they suggested going to HELP you when the market pretty much crashes (even though we have more protection from it compared to the Great Depression)?

How is $650 (What Clinton suggested) going to help you when -

Fuel Prices have increased by 10%

    Education has increased by 15%

Health Care Co-Pays and Fees by 25%

    Food Prices have increased!

Only what Edwards said has made any sense and its still not far enough.

You pretty much have to return the country back to the New Deal because this 2nd 40 year experiment in "Free Market" again DOESN'T WORK!

The GOVERNEMENT needs the set the rules of the marketplace.

Anytime it hasn't, you have had damage to the enviorment, stagnat wages and the stripping of wealth from the middle class and keeping the poor SUPER POOR.

Just look on Google, this crisis has been compared to the Great Depression and they aren't kidding, this IS history repeating itself and the Right Wing Idelogy out of control!

They obivously aren't going to LEARN that you can't ruin encomonies and leave only 1-2% of Americans with all the power and all the money.

This is why you can't just BLINDLY support a Brotha that wants to be President or a Woman that wants to be either, that is NOT enough.

It's true that the economy has been mismanaged by both parties....however, the buffoon regime that's in power has fucked things up royally over the past 8 yrs. that whoever gets elected this year is going to have one hell of a task of cleaning this mess up. IMHO, Sen. Barack Obama is the person who would most likely change things for the better.

I dont blindly support Clinton or Obama and I dont have a problem with Edwards, either. Although I think he has a snowball's chance in hell of getting the nomination. The reason I am rooting for a Democratic nominee to win is because the president sets the tone for the country.

Also, your numbers regarding the war are waaay off. The war is costing us about 275 million a day, not 24 BILLION a day. (Personally, the loss of life far outweighs the cost in $$.) But your point was made, never the less.

I don't care who gets the nomination and I would like to see a brokered convention FRANKLY.

We need to change what the top three want and put them more in-line with Kucinich's goals.

    Univ Health Care

    Green Power

    Rebuilding of our infastructure

    Re-appealing -

    NAFTA

    WTO

Bush, Clinton, Bush, Regan: Tax Cuts

And ALL the degraulation since Carter!

Obama and Hilary have been bought, however they can become Teddy Roosevelt -

We had the Square Deal, the New Deal, we need The REAL Deal!
