I actually feel deeply sorry for her and her parents. She has clearly lost touch with reality but unfortunately, there is nothing anyone can do unless she willingly get help, or she puts herself or others in danger. She clearly is not going to reach out for help on her own.

A common occurrence among child stars who are subjected to all that pressure at a young age and whose parents turn their own children into the family business.

Amanda Bynes still looks good to me. Crazy as fuck though.

Its sad too because she made a pretty good transition from Nickelodeon to her career as an adult, success wise.

I didn't really pay attention to her but I didn't really get a sense that she did a good transition. the only thing I can recall is an SNL. I wasn't an amanda fan though. This was pass my era. back in the day with arnold, rugrats and cat and dog.

I miss rugrats so. Take me back I want to go back.

I remember watching the Amanda Show with my son and the two of us cracking up. I don't remember much of her adult career except that movie she did with Colin Firth "What A Girl Wants".

She was in Hairspray and her love interest is a black dude that she's been crushing on during the whole movie.

They remade that movie again? Good lord. Lol. I remember the version with Divine.

Yeah, she didn't have ultimate superstar status success, but she had a decent amount of success. She was kinda on the A-list for a minute...she kept getting work in mainstream shit. She's the most successful former All That cast member...which isn't saying much though.

She had a couple, like MS said, Hairspray. I think that movie was one of her biggest hits, but I guess she stopped getting work.

Hahaha, it's an interesting story. And how cute it was tackling racism.

Judging from her behavior, it is with good reason.

Yeah. John Waters always throws in social commentary in his films, amidst all the campy comedy.
