Am I too LATE?

Was I supposed to start here with my first thread?

Because my first was my Funk thread (that's F.U N. K Andrae, ok??) And I got so carried away and got to know so many of you wonderful people in it. So this may be a day late and a dollar short but HI! Hi, Hi!

I've already gotten to know some of you a bit so mega-hugs to you...anyone else, I hope to get to know soon.

All I'll say is my first eyes-on experience with a Black man was when I was 16 and visited my best friend's boyfriend's Bodyshop....and there before me lay a God, an Adonis, named Keith. He was 21 and from Mauritius, and we both connected on a butterfly level that I can't describe. We dated just a bit because at 16, I was always so nervous around his beautiful self. I didn't give up the goods but I gave up the lips.(those on my face Andrae, ok??) To this day, I will always have a soft spot for Mauritian men. Eventually I upgraded by canoodling with AMERICAN Black men (*sigh*)...damn there are NO men like you in this world, and I have been all over!


Well I hope I haven't come on too strong by parking my butt on the couch like I was a regular, it's just you guys/gals here made and make me feel so comfortable and welcomed!

Hello to Everyone! I came accross this site as I was "googling" and read a couple threads and found it interesting. I have no expectations from this site as far as "hooking up/finding love" because well, I live in Nebraska and there probably isn't a lot of people on here from Nebraska. lol
I just find the conversations informative and like to hear other peoples opinions on things!

However let me explain where that came from.

I actually added the upgrade as an after thought, because reflecting back, Keith was an Aussie, and if you saw my other posts, I don't care much for Aussie men in general because of the way they behave. If you must know, he stood me up on NYE because he got into a brawl with some guys, which is not uncommon in OZ. As noted, I worshiped his looks, and declared a permanent soft spot for Mauritian men.

You have to know that in my eyes, Black American men are an upgrade because I wasn't raised here. So I see them in a complete different light. No matter how hard I try to leave them for white guys, even sometimes African guys, I love them and I can't stay away.

Keith was beautiful to look at. Perfection. Always will be.

i dated 2 mauritian men (turns out they were cousins...long story) and i would say that they to were beautiful to look at. i actually used to call them my show ponies...all beauty, but there really wasn't much underneath.
