Age Difference

it's all about them '86-ers...

at 22...I can't afford to go back more than four years for obvious legal reasons....while I'm attracted to women that are 10-15 years older than I am, I know that realistically a relationship isn't happening...

even a woman that's 26 or 27 seems to be in a completely different stage of life....

i'm stuck in limbo sometimes....girls closer to my age or a little younger think they're really mature because they've "been out in the world" and "done stuff" but I find that many still have as much or more to learn as I do.....but how many 27-year olds are going to give a 22-year old still in school a second look?

 

lol, chosen....you're probably right about the 26-27yr old women. most of us are in a different state of mind than a 22yr old male. if i were single and looking, i probably wouldn't go out of my way to find the typical 22yr old man, but if i met the right one, i wouldn't throw him away just b/c he's a young'n. :wink:

I'm 39 and my man will be 56 in July. It's perfect for us. I've always loved older men. I just feel so taken care of. He seems so wise and just takes care of everything. He's my "big daddy".

I'm 26 and dating a man who is about to turn 40. Thus far, he is the oldest man I have dated, and it has been going very well.

I've dated a man younger than me-20. We had great sex; he was able to go for a long time (AND get it up soon after finishing). But, he's in college and mostly concerned about getting drunk. He also thought I should pay for everything because I have a full-time job, so despite the great sex, it all got old, quick.

I've dated men closer to my age, but as far as maturity goes, it wasn't much better. Scientifically speaking, most men lag about 4 years behind women in the maturity department. Then there is the whole thing with where a person is in their life. There are just so many factors besides age to factor in, I feel that age is purely incidental.
