Sure it isn't Wolof, with one o? It's is the main ethnical group of Senegal. A lot of ppl left Africa from Goreé Island, close to Dakar.
If u r interested in knowing something about slaveship, Google Goreé Island. A lot of african american go to visit the island to remember their heritage. Never been there, but I would like to. yrs ago sharks swimmed all around because they knew they would get a lot of food .
