The Beastie Boys have been doing their thing for almost a quarter century. Eminem may have more record sales, but musically I can't put him or hardly any other hip hop acts in their category. How many instrumental hip hop acts are there out here grinding, other than The Roots??? The Beastie Boys have been doing this their whole lives. They are one of the originals. They are a hip hop act that happens to be white, NOT a White hip hop group.
