Where Mammy and Big Ma run everything, with the departure of the Black father, thanks to the welfare system... They don't want the men to be around.
    Self centered, wenches.

Off topic, years ago, I was on my way home from work one night. I was waiting for the bus. From across the street comes a BM/WW couple. This dude had a perfect 'fro. I thought he was macking because the girl he was with was baaaaaaad. They started talking about the wedding and I thought "homeboy's gonna spend a lifetime with baby girl".

As soon as the BM opened his mouth, he said "me and Steve are destined to be together". No shit, he said that. Since I was at the bus stop, there was no may for me not to listen, but he was telling his girl that he had been raised by mama, big ma and aunties with no male relatives at all. His mother had wanted a girl, so she raised him like one.

He was talking about slumber parties and cheerleading and all the girly things he did when he was a little boy.

    That's a damn shame.

Sister sure do know how to raise a bi-racial male child with self-esteem and a decent name.

Yeah...when I have kids, it is stories like this that make me want to give my son some of that good ole' 300 movie Spartan Training, rough him up in the backyard and send him out in the wild with a spear, to make sure he grows up to be a man, for good measure lol...seriously though, a disappointing story

Just wondering? Do you have any positive black women in your life? I have read quite a few of your posts and you seem to have an undesirable attitude towards sistas.

I have plenty, if you must know. I study the media, in which a lot of Black men don't. Many of the men here will agree with me. I don't have any undesirable attitude towards BW. I'm just telling the truth about this current generation. I'm also telling the truth about how the disdain for masculinity the sistas have.

    Game!

Apparently not enough or you'd have that answer. Also, who are you to determine what is, or is not an 'undesirable attitude'?

Yeah, you're really a BM. Quite laughable. No real Black "Man" would wish ill will on their fellow brothers. Why you're at it, what about Nas? He's getting taken to the cleaners and then some. Do you wish ill will on him too?

Maybe if you stopped using gossip blogs as your litmus test for "relationships", especiallly interracial ones, you would see that most athletes and BM alike, are with Black women.

Another insecure sista posing as an emasculated BM.

Dude, you can cease with the name calling. I understand you're a "vet" and i'm a "newbie" but we can be civil. I am a part of quite a few forums, so i'm just as comfortable asking something here, as on other boards where i'm a "vet." Your having a "cheerleading" squad (see above poster, who I actually have felt some of her postings in my short time here) means nothing to me, so come correct.

Back to my earlier observation. Some of the terminolgy you use is quite foul, and is my reason for asking. As a black man I understand the dynamics as far as dealing with sistas are concerned, but can still remain respectful. It just seems to me that you're posting some of the things that you do because this site is frequented by white women primarily. It would play differently to another crowd, as i'm sure you're aware. Just an observation, but carry on.

Can you go into further detail on this?

I'm not saying anything foul. I'm just saying what too many black men are too afraid to say.

Read any of Flaminghetero's post. I think they sum this up best. In the meanwhile, open up your eyes.

What do you mean you felt some of my postings? I've never said anything to you. I'm not Smooths cheerleader. I'm stating my opinion. If you read any of my posts like you said you have "felt", you'd know that I'm an equal opportunity defender of what I perceive to be right and wrong.

I do appreciate your support IB. I wonder what are the point of his postings? I made some not so nice comments about BW, but they were always backed up by truth.

Why do you feel brothas are "afraid" to express themselves. How so?

Sorry about that. I meant I like the way ESPY expresses herself in her posts (Not towards me, in general... she seems to be pretty rational in her thoughts).

The point of my post, is that it is bothersome. I will ask a sista what's up just the same, and have. Don't take it personal.
