I just read this article. http://townhall.com/columnists/StarParker/2010/05/03/the_naacp_and_abortion_politics/page/full I think this was the wrong way of slowing down abortion. It would not matter if you were to make it all illegal. Women are still going to get it. Do you have any suggestions on how the community could aid women in choosing to have children? My suggestion is to give women more support emotionally. I think their decision is more based on how much support that they will get from family and especially her man along with finance.
IMO this is completely useless. If a woman was seeking an abortion based upon the race of the fetus, she just wouldn't tell them that's the reason. Apparently they think people are really stupid, or incapable of lying to suit their purpose? I honestly don't know how you can reduce the number of abortions. I do believe in education, and though I am completely in favor of legalized abortion, I do believe waiting periods are wise to ensure women fully understand the choice they are making. Once it's done, it's done. I know several women who made that choice and now wish they hadn't, life's too short for regrets like that. I just don't have any reasonable suggestions at the moment Archangel, I'll try to give it more thought when my head doesn't hurt so bad.
