From Wikipedia: "A former Freanch colony, Haiti became the first independent black republic and the only nation ever to form from a successful slave rebellion. Haiti became the second non-native country in the Americas (after the United States) to declare its independence, on January 1, 1804." And because of that independence the country has been paying for it ever since.
Countries (including United States) doesn't want Haiti to become a powerful independent country and it would be better to keep them in poverty and constantly infighting with each other so they can't organize. I always find it interesting to see a couple of white folks (especially white women) in a country unstable as Haiti.
Yeah but they're only there for the poor BLACK DYCK :!:  And as both movies show, it won't be much of even that left if the violence & poverty isn't stopped :!: :?
No it's not the white women that are affected by the violence at all. It's the poor Haitian Bros :!: :?
Can you imagine the uproar if it was BM travelling to a white country for sex tourism ? Bu its acceptable to see BM as partof a holiday package! How racist.
The truth is alway horrible. Haiti, is the 2nd country (besides the US) to win it's independence and they have be punished for it ever since. The country makes some of it's money off tourists' dollars from US, Canada and Europe the other sugar and coffee. Because of the government is unstable the US State Department advises travellers to avoid the country. Being a white woman looking for a black man to have sex with (I can imagine a few brave enough to do this) and not get robbed, raped and caught up in the drug culture.
