A Question About Cars

Good choice with a wagon. Versatile. Is it a Subaru?

 

So far the car is working out well, and her quirks are getting ironed out slowly but surely. I have to let her go for two days this week to get my damn speedometer fixed, but after that I hope it's a while before anything else has to be fixed. Unlikely as I may also need a damn fan belt, but we'll see! It's going well so far, and I can happily report that I've barely been home since that muthafucka got my name put on it.

It's still in desperate need of detail cleaning, though. It was cheap lol But Nate and I got about half the interior nicely done, just gotta get the backseat and the back area. I was happy to discover the car was actually a lot nicer without all the crud. lol And with armor all she shines like new.

Max, yep, Subaru Impreza, though I call it a hatchback cause it's more of a mini wagon. lol My ex's dad had an Impreza wagon of about the same year and it had way more junk in the trunk if ya feel me.

I <3 Subarus, and I've always wanted an Impreza. Though I dreamed of a gorgeous lil WRX in Subaru blue, late 2000s model, I'm still star struck that I actually got one. It's pretty cool.

I spent 2 hours upgrading the speaker system tonight with speakers and a subwoofer I harvested from computer sound systems and a video gaming chair. hahaha So I can cruise with actual BASS. I also repaired the factory speakers in the doors cause they sounded atrocious.



Next, a cd player. My car is so old it only has a tape deck lol And look at me with no cassettes. ohhh and an amp, or at least a sub with external power. Nate's got a beastly sub with an old stereo that I'm foaming at the mouth to put in my car. Help me convince him, it's a good cause! hahaha

ohhh and autozone has a fucking amazing pink shaggy seat cover that I'm putting on my list. It's so tacky but I want it. lol

you can get your freak on if you were on a long trip if you wanted to.just pull over drop the seats back in the rear and go for broke.
