Okay, I support animal rights/welfare but the ALF are making themselves look like a bunch of thugs. I feel bad for people donating money to them when it's paying for bombs and spray paint for petty vandalism - not saving animals.

A few years ago in the UK they dug up the remains of a family member of an animal researcher. Why??

I believe in direct action to some extent, but not like this. It makes the cause look pathetic.

I used to support this sort of thing years ago in my rebellious days but it just seems stupid to me now. Firebombing a car is not saving any animals.

I've barely followed this and don't know anything about the research to comment. I would imagine that most members of ALF know as much as I do.

I bet these same morons will need whatever is developed from testing on animals. Its either test on animals or humans. We eat plenty of animal everyday so I don't know why they care for some chimp.A dog is okay but the rest of the animals are fair game.
