    Just saw this item about forthcoming remasters from his archives..

    ..and it is a sobering thought that, on 9 October this year, this Beatle Emeritus *would* have turned...all of 70 years of age...had he lived..:(


    The thread title "70 IF" is, of course, in semi-satirical reference to the licence plate "28 IF" on the VW in the infamous 1969 "Abbey Road" LP cover photoshoot...that 'hinted' that Paul McCartney would have 'turned 28 if he hadn't died'. You know the rumours then...McCartney had perished two years prior to the LP and was replaced by a mysterious android double/KGB operative clone or something with McCratney's full creative powers....

    Anyhow, a sobering thought that I just wanted to share with all the minions here..
