In his commercial together, I wonder what was in 50's head to say I want carrie underwood in my new ad. :? http://omg.yahoo.com/packin-a-punch/photos/1714?nc
These rappers are weird like that ..... First its Snoop saying he digs LeAnn Rimes, now 50 chillin' with Carrie. Hmmm, does this suggest a rap-country lovefest in the works? lol.
 Forget the rappers on this, I'm surprised that the country western "starlets" are cool with it since alot of people feel that every rapper is thug or a murderer :!: :?
Carrie Underwood and 50 Cent in a commerical is about as odd as Suge Knight and Puff Daddy playing a round of golf together  I wonder why more rap and country artists don't team up for collaborations....those two forms of music represent the two very different ends of the musical spectrum and each side has a lot of fans (with a little overlap) I just can't wait for that Nas & Faith Hill Country-Hop album... BlackGrits...
It's the corperate big wigs behind it... and of course both parites will agree because...well, Big corps write big checks. Same thing with artist 'a and 'b getting together to do a song, and you wonder why they would get together... it's because thier record label "told them" to. Not always the case, but a lot of times is.
Ever since Nelly and Tim McGraw broke that barrier urban artists have been trying to get at that country market and the country guys want to be hip and on it by working with a black dude. I just read that Snoop and Willie Nelson are making something together.
Snoop already did a Johnny Cash song w/ Everlast. It's on his new album 'Ego Trippin'. It's called "My Medicine" in reference to medical marijuana.
seriously...can you imagine the amount of weed that would be smoked between those two The title of that album..."Smokeout"
as a musician, i agree 100%....but i still can't help laugh at the thought of snoop dogg and willie together - it's just such an odd pair.
Hey, it worked over 20 years ago with Phil Collins and Phillip Bailey and their mega-hit song "Easy Lover", I still bump that song to this very day. I swear people dont know, when we put our racial differences aside we can make some beautiful music. You know what, I'm about to go and listen to "Easy Lover" right now. *I'm out!!!*
now, i've totally got "easy lover" stuck in my head....thanks!! lol and i'm not looking at snoop dogg and willie from a racial aspect...i just think they are both about as far away as you can get from eachother in their respective genres. does that make any sense? when nelly and tim mcgraw teamed up it wasn't so shocking...even 50 Cent and carrie underwood isn't that shocking....but willie and snoop - it's just wild. maybe it's a physical appearance thing - they both kind of look like rats...don't you think? lmao, sorry....i'm strange.
I know you didn’t mean anything by what you said; it’s just that I wish most people could understand that a real musician or an aficionado of music like me has to become diverse not only to broaden their fan-base but to educate themselves as well. I also think Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg might be teaming up for “medicinal” purposes. Remember how they both had cameos in “Half Baked”?
