    Huntress is/was pretty feminist

She ain't got no time for that man-in-charge bullshit

I think she was bisexual too

Feminists and bisexuality/lesbianology usually go hand in hand

    Men suck

For me its simple. I put the needs and desires of my wife and kids before my own, and she does the same for me. On any big decision, my wife and I huddle up and talk things through as a team, simple. Yet our friends wonder why we rarely if ever argue, and always seem calm and secure around each other.

LOL, that's why its VERY important to marry/date a woman with brains and beauty. The right two heads are better than one my friend.

So basically, you practice mutual submission. Exactly what the Christian philosophy is, if you truly study it.

Yes, it upsets my stomach actually.
I believe in equality and a good teamwork.
The part who is better or more experienced at something should take the lead.
If the man is a good leader, I wouldn't mind following (every now and then).

Its interesting, many people have trouble with the word "submission" imo because they take it to mean being a doormat for someone. I dont call it submission, I call what we do, leadership by being of service to your loved ones and always supporting and encouraging them through good and bad.

For example, our daughter was scheduled for a big horse show this weekend, however she came home last night with a poor score on last weeks algebra test. In our house school comes first so after a few tears from my wife (and even more tears from our daughter this morning when we told her..), she supported my call that she will not be allowed to compete. So here was an example where my wife knew the right thing to do was to not let her go, but needed me to step up and break the news to her this morning, as it was too emotional for her as she loves watching and coaching our daughter as she competes.

I guess I just don't view submission as an ugly word. It's all about one's perspective, I guess.

Some people confuse submissive with subservience, which is NOT the same thing.

    Exactly!

Being a submissive wife can be good or bad. It all depends on the man. Is he head of the household material? Does the woman trust him enough to hand over that kind of power?

For a wife to feel safe enough to be submissive, the man must have character, be selfless, and be smart and skilled enough to make a submissive life doable for his wife.

If she is always putting out fires and solving problems that he should be taking care of. it just won't work. If she has to be the man, why would she look at him to lead?

Just 'cause one has a penis, does not make one a man.
