I think the No Name Bitch Thread is the best place to vent if someone feels the need; there's too much infighting going on around here as it is. Hahaha!!! They tend to keep the place going, since people, as you so eloquently put it....get off on drama. I should know. I am guilty of it at times, but I hardly come here anymore, let alone participate in such squabbles in-depth.
I know people are going to disagree sometimes, but some of the fights never seem to end. People might take a breather once in a while, but then the same old arguments are picked back up again over & over & over & over...:smt015 It's like some people argue just for the sake of arguing...they don't care about communicating; they just want to turn everything into some inane debate. Even when their opinions are the same, some folks are too busy arguing to even notice. It's not like I haven't had a heated exchange or two since I've been here (like many of us have), but once it's done, it's done. I'm not constantly on the lookout for something to fight about, and the people who always are baffle me.
Once again people should stop whining and get back to the fucking programme. This thread was about who was a good match with who then some people started whining about how this place has gone bad and then a statement was made about the whining then someone got offended and there was back and forth which was supposed to have ended. People complain about the very same thing they indulge in
I participate in the present of the boards in positive manner I believe. I also believe that the forum was a different, more vibrant, fun, less judgmental, more understanding place before. If I'm whining or whiney by stating that, then I'll be that. I think it's ok if a thread or two gets sidetracked every now again, this is an organic forum, not so static and compartmentalized that we need to start a thread for evey topic or word. Everything changes, some are cyclical, others Progress, yet others digress. No biggie, those of us whining will feel more comfortable eventually, if we stick aroundaround.
