No one seems to know how many Nigerian girls are actually missing

Nigeria is in the news almost everyday. Usually for a village massacre or bombing....or a school massacre.

 

That's what I mean. It's like a fad or something. You can go days without hearing anything about them and then boom! all of a sudden another news flash. I hope they get a handle soon on the violence and the people get some amount of peace.

 

It's crazy. The shit in Nigeria, the ISIS in Iraq, the shit in Ukraine. Good Damn.

 

Seriously. And it seems like the conflicts are not going to end any time soon. If anything, it feels like there are more conflicts on the horizon.

 

Really believe that? Or we as a world don't give two shits about poor people especially the poor in the developing world?

I think it might have more to do with religion than race. This country's liberal-influenced media does not want to incite the Islamic community. I get my news local AND abroad and they stay on this. In fact, they reported that just the other day some more girls escaped their captures ..

 

Non US sites like aljazeera and bbc still cover this.

 

Yup. I listen to the BBC on NPR Radio and they often include Aljazeera reports. I also love reading European, British and African newspapers online. Best way to cut through the bullshit.

The government is too lax about the situation which is typical of West Africans. Just these few days, there have been over 3 bombing with women being the suicide bombers and this moron called GoodLuck Jonathan says things are under control.

 

That is sad. Anyone who is a suicide bomber is bad, but I would hope women had a little more sense than that. My friends husband was killed by a suicide bomber. They are so brainwashed it is pathetic IMHO.
