was wacthing a slavery movie called RoseWood..dont know if any of yall seen it..but Its a good movie its historic in a sense goes back sorta doing slavery times.based on a real story...and my question is doing back in slavery do you think thier was really true interracial relationships way.way back then some people may think its hard now..but back then can u imagine O_O a slave going with a slave owners daughter in secrect I still didnt see how that was even possible.well in concluding what is the oldest interracial couple are relationships do you know?? thats all

Interracial goes back since before Roman times. Its been happening ever since cultures/civilizations discovered each other.
Yeah, I've seen Rosewood a while back. From what I remember, it was a John Singleton joint set in post-slavery Florida, where blacks were free but not equal. (old story there) I thought the movie was tight in its depiction of the social structure which white southerns set and blacks lived by. Um, with respect to your question about IR back then. "jxsilicon9" is right. IR has always been around, everywhere where there was a social class struture much like the Roman times. I'm sure that even back then, people from different races/colors found a way to be together. And I'm sure the reason for the secrecy was the way those societies class structure was based. Slavery was no exception. I'd bet as much as the slaves themselves understood the consequences of race mixing, so to did the whites who lived comfortably under the plantation system. No doubt a few of those white girls sought out the brothas and were able to find places of privacy for themselves. Vice versa for the white dudes after the black women
