He is not at all foolish for not having sex with them. He is actually very smart about this decision. He is very attractive which means he can and is getting it just about everywhere else other than work, so what would be foolish and very stupid in his position, would be to complicate things at work, and jeopardize his career future, and his bread and butter, by encouraging these women's behaviour.
I as well work for a company in the marketing industry. It seems in this industry like there's more mixing of business and pleasure than in other industries. I have already decided what I would do if I was ever hit on or propositioned by a superior. I would start looking for another job asap before I got a chance to be fired. That is the only other better decision this man could have made. For all we know he may already have been looking for another job, when he was fired.

Yes, some do, but more likely than not, and especially if you are very career-minded (think: long-term, instead of "this is just a job") the position it puts you in is a very weak one. These women are being incredibly abusive and the behavior is utterly disgusting. This coming from someone who works in a company where at Christmas time my co-worker is asked to wrap the gifts for the owner's wife and kids, and a couple months later we have to see him walk into the office with his latest 20something side girlfriend, and have to look the other way, because our paychecks depends on it. One attractive female employee was fired, and people are saying the real reason why she was fired is because she refused his advances. Another one of my co-workers told me that the owner and CEO regularly check candidates facebooks before deciding whether or not to interview them, to see how attractive they are. These types of people are abusive and DISGUSTING. This SH** is not funny!!!! It hurts everyone.

 

Your boss has no obligation to give you anything in return for your **ck or your **ssy. If it's not something they can praise you for on your official evaulation, there is no guarantee that you will be getting anything out of it, and you are more than putting yourself in danger of something bad coming out of it. People who would abuse you like that in a position of power, are the same people who you should not trust with ANYTHING. If you can't put two and two together, then don't blame anyone but yourself when reality flies back to whack you over the forehead. That's all I gotta say about this topic. It should be clear enough, but obviously many men don't get it.

Sorry, can't help it when I see what this kind of behavior, when tolerated, is doing where I am working right now. I am not against workplace boundary crossing, but not when it involves superior and subordinate. People in completely different departments, neither of whom report to the other in any capacity, is ok. Even then, be careful.
