That's why you got to be smooth baby, the flower man downtown sells a dozen of roses for $6. Buy 2 dozen and when you come thru her job, pass out a rose to each woman you come into contact with or just leave the roses at the secretary desk letting her know it's for them.

 

Oh yes, females can be quite catty and competitive.
I had flowers delivered to my work place twice last year. Luckily both times a coworker was around who didn't have a catty or envious attitude.
