This gif. I'm not going to be too hard on the creative team for this one. Honestly it was probably more "oh we have this cute kid for the commercial" let's bring in the mom and the dad whose good for the dad? "I like Dave." "Dave is black though....ah hell sure why not?" "Yo Dave! Get over here! Wanna be in a commercial?"
i was working yesterday when i saw a darkskin blk male with his 3 or 4 yr old white son(step son), just him and his son walking hand-in-hand in the store, a warm site to see
I happen to see an HBO commercial for HBO GO, HBO's wireless application. In one scene, there was a black man with a white woman watching a movie/show and they are sitting really close to each other. It seemed cool. But, of course, this is HBO and not regular syndicated television. Cable television is a little more courageous. I guess for any film or program featuring any ir, it would have to be made in a cable network.
McDonalds "Joywalk" Commercial This commercial is being played on TV on a lot of stations. You probably saw it but didnt catch what is going on. They play a edited version of it for TV. The premise of the commercial is the girl buys a $1 coke and begins to reminise of a date she had that she liked. On TV, the girl is only shown quickly walking to the machine and you get a quick look of her in her reflection at the soda machine. On TV at the carnival, you do not get any sense that it is her with the black dude on a date at a carnival. They do not show her eating the french fries. It is not shown of her receiving the green fluffy monster the black dude won for her before winning the big bear. They also do not show them watching the fireworks together. Giving it a impression that they are not on a date or together. On TV you just see the black dude walk off with the stuffed bear. The full version you see below makes it more obvious of what is going on. The commercial is completly different when you see the full version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTuBHcI398U
