The Atheist Experience [Broadcasting Show]

The Atheist Experience is a long running public broadcasting show in Austin, Texas who speaks on the issues regarding the atheist community and promoting secularism, humanism, and above all, discussions on the subject matter. Normally, the vast majority of callers are from varied religious groups and we have the occasional secularist who often make statements that could be put off as a bit outlandish.

The numerous hosts who often volunteer [yes, they don't get paid for this] tend to have lives outside of the show and come from different personal ideologies, but all share one goal: promoting freethought and atheism. The things I'll post are the videos relating to their shows. Some are whole shows, and others are segments from many avid listeners on YouTube. I'm an atheist and have been since 1979-1980, but I have to say that I hate it when atheists proselytize our atheism with the same dogmatic fervor as the religious. We should simply refer to the scientific record and not evidence the same need to believe as believers. Atheism is not our faith, it is supposed to be our reasoned position based on logical discourse and empirical/material analysis. Sometimes - but not always - these shows make atheists look like some sort of cut-rate version of a public access channel religious show.
