It's obviously a painful and embarrassing situation and yes I'm an asshole for making light of it, but what was going through Paula's head as she was sending those threatening emails? Wow! For someone who has so much of her shit together (West Point and Harvard grad, tight body), that showed a severe lack of good judgement on her part.

Men stray for different reasons. Most of it, according to the men who stray, is emotional dissatisfaction. I'm sure holly is a wonderful wife, mother, human being. But just like other people can't judge the situation neither can YOU. You don't know any more about any of it than petty does. You HAVE NO IDEA what she's like in person or what actually made the general cheat. Because you are, like the rest of us, sitting on the outside looking in.
