I plan on staying mainly in Sydney, since I was told that there was so much to see and do while I'm there. If I get the chance I'll probably try to get to some other places but since the country is so huge I may have to save some for my next trip...if I ever manage to leave the country that is. Apparently Americans going to Oz and wanting to stay is a pretty common occurrence.

 

I plan on leaving after Christmas and coming back after New Year's day. By the time. I just hope that my luck holds out and nothing ridiculous happens between now and then to ruin everything. My fingers are crossed.

 

I love Jane Austen, the books are better than the movies tho (isn't that always the case?)Sense and Sensibility is also a good one. I think Kierra Knightly does a good job playing these roles.

 

Hmm. I would hazard a guess and say that most Australians, like most Americans, are more interested in spending time with their families that time of year.

 

Can anyone tell me what the British Broadcasting Corporation, Catholic church, the Boy Scouts of America, and Penn State all have in common?

 

Sydney is nice, but I don't think that it's the best city. And you are right, Australia is vast and so much fun to explore. You'll have a ball

I'm tired of only seeing my family when someone dies. From now on I'm going to make much more of an effort to connect with the family I have left. I've been saying that for a while now but two deaths in two weeks makes me rethink my priorities.
