Teacher ridicules student for wearing a Romney shirt

Does every thread that she posts on have to end up abou her?? LOL...on topic..I teach history and Social Studies to ESL students at the high school level and of course have to cover the election. As hard as it is to stoamch Mitt, I have to be objective. I WOULD never call out a kid on their beliefs, as long as they state them in a respectful way, the Frist Amendment does apply.

I loath Romney, but would praise ANYONE who dares to wear a Romney shirt in my school for having the courage to stand up for their beliefs. I know how it feels as I wore a Giants jersey to our Superbowl party of Pats fans in February.

Everytime I learn of a teacher making any child feel bad for a belief, I want to slap them, there are tons of teachers in the States that are certified, cannot get in the field, and truly love educating children. What is wrong with people?
