I'm not sticking up for left or right. What I'm saying is if the attitude fuck the poor and middle class hadn't been more or less prominent in the last 3 decades, it wouldn't be an issue to start with.

Both sides can be corrupt. Both sides can be short sighted.

The point should be that no matter who you vote for, if you can't see that not working together (our elected officials) it will benefit no one.

And should the rich and powerful truly get their way with a "me, mine, and mine alone" attitude will be their own undoing eventually.
