    NP, Tony ~

I loved Florio's 2 intro paragraphs, lmao. Last I heard they were considering, can't believe they did it. I mean, the man can still play no doubt, but his ego thinks he's a #1 and not a 3rd string. I know that 12th-man crowd will let him hear it if he acts up. :)

My Eagles face him tomorrow. (pre-s). This man doesn't get nearly the public respect he deserves.
Could you imagine being 34 and being a new head coach of the Steelers? Wow. So glad the F.O recognized everything he has brought them/to them over the 6 years and are re-rewarding him.

I'm lightweight jealous because I wish Mike Tomlin was the head coach of my Jaguars, dude is a beast.

I remember someone saying back in 07' when he first got the job in Pittsburgh that this guy had the potential to become one of the NFL's next great head coaches. Like on some black-Lombardi type shit. lol

I got nothing but respect for Mike Tomlin, But unfortunately I hate the Steelers. So on the one hand I want to see the brother succeed but on the other hand I would really love to see the Steelers go 0-16.

    Hell yeah! :smt023

A part of me dies inside when the Superbowl is over until preseason starts again. LOL. (I secretly wish football could last all year)

And since I discovered how awesome fantasy football is last year, I'm even MORE psyched for the season to start!

My league's draft isn't until September 1st, but I still scout for my fantasy team year-round.

Thats awesome. Anytime somebody talks about a part of them dying in the inside when the season is over, you know they're huge football fans.:) Anyway good luck this year with your fantasy football, hope you win a championship.:smt023

Thank you! I need to start researching WRs and RBs so I can destroy every team in my path. LOL.

They sure weren't exaggerating. He just turned 40...with 55-25 reg..4 playoffs, 2 SB looks, One championship...in 5 seasons?? Stunning. And all the while looking so damn cool!

LOL, that's cold, Thump. Divisional rival? Who is your team?

I am a Seahawks fan and I'm still a little bitter about SuperBowl XL, and how the game seemed like a gift wrapped retirement gift for Jerome Bettis and Bill Cower.

Honestly, the real bitterness wore off years ago, but it's still fun to have a "Arch-enemy" team.;)

Yes, it was quite a story book ending for Jerome, in particular.

I hear you on the bitterness, lol...I don't have nearly as much angst for Dallas as I used to -
it's transferred to the Gnats. Of course, just when they decide to win two SB's in four years... :?

Yeah, dude is having one of those "worst week ever"-type of moments right now. I wonder how HBO is gonna spin this story for their Hard Knocks training camp series?
