Three that come to mind are: the mother interviewed on Oprah who while going for a jog, arrived home to find her ex husband had snuck in and slaughtered their 3 teenagers as they slept; the father who lost custody of his 2 boys to his missing wife's parents, blew them and *himself up on a supervised visit; the father who decapitated his little son's head and left it along the roadside he knew his ex would be traveling along returning from the store, so she could find it. These are not cases of mental illness- this is pure evil and thus nothing less than death for these monsters from hell. .
I haven't heard of the other two cases, but what happened to the Powell boys just broke my heart. To think that speculation was the older boy was starting to "talk" so the father got rid of them, by hacking them before blowing the house up. And that poor social worker will be scarred for life. Every story like this that I hear breaks my heart. It's hard to escape sensationalized stories like the Powells, but this is partially the reason I won't watch the news and rarely read the newspaper. It's too depressing.
Right so ypu saw nothing inappropriate about bringing up the criminal behavior of the entire black community when a teenager was murdered. That was a family thing too. Do ypu want your kids to lose their dad because he was wearing a hoody? You really dont see the point I made?
