Rumor Control: Who Is Sharon Reed and Why Do People Think Lebron James Fathered Her Love Child?



Lebron James may be making headlines again soon and it’s not because of the championship ring he won in the NBA, nor the 5-carat engagement ring he gave Savannah Brinson, but because of the ring (or another form of birth control) that his alleged sidepiece wasn’t wearing.


Rumor has it, “King James” has a secret love child.


Normally we wouldn’t give any attention to a “report” from Sandra Rose, but the gossip site has everyone, including the mother of this alleged child talking on Twitter. She says:

Could all of this be true? It’s hard to put infidelity past any NBA player, but this isn’t just some girl hanging outside of the locker room. Sharon was a professional journalist who graduated from Georgetown and got a Master’s Degree from Northwestern University.


Ask anyone in Cleveland about her though and they’ll tell you about the time she appeared nude on the newscast for an “art” story back in 2004. They also might throw in some rumors about her and Shaq and other ball players in Cleveland. Clearly, the former news anchor doesn’t exactly have a pristine reputation, but former trysts aren’t evidence either.


For her part, Sharon used her Twitter account to further fuel speculation:

“Soon” is a relative term and could mean today or in ten years. Maybe she is shopping her story for money first or maybe her response won’t be a real response at all.

In the meantime, I’m just hoping it’s not true. Lebron and Savannah seem happy together and he told Oprah that proposing to Savannah felt like the nervousness he gets before the NBA Finals. But, then again the Miami Heat superstars aren’t exactly famous for their fidelity and more than likely Savannah isn’t going anywhere anyway.

Sharron was an upstart reporter here in Philly and she definitely got around very quickly with the famous and rich Brothas. I'm shocked she is is the other woman/baby mama, but then again, I'm not. She was very popular, and lusted after and was lusted after by men here.

The kids aren't the problem mismanaging the money is. In the case of a good number of these dudes like Patrick Ewing they made 10s of millions of dollars. It doesn't cost that much to raise a kid. People are raising families of 3 kids on 80k and you mean to tell me its impossible on 50 million? That doesn't make sense to me.
