In a similar situation myself, except fuck school.

I have recently been promoted to team lead for my small team. Essentially I currently manage my team. I work with the team to define team and individual goals for my guys each quarter. I'm generally invited as 'required' to meetings with other managers where my manager is invited as 'optional'. More often than not, my manager looks to me for advice on policies, procedures, etc.,.

Well, a few weeks ago I was approached by another team for a position that would pay me 10 - 15k more and move me more into an IT security focus. When I informed my boss, they countered with an offer to formally give me management over my team.

Not sure what to do....
