My brother Charles...Vanquish received one hell of an acclaim. But you're right...it's part of that cult favorite, and were overshadowed by a lot of other games that were out at that time. You know what's funny? The people behind Vanquish and Bayonetta are working on Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
Tenchu 2 was one of the best stealth action games around. As a stealth game it got over shadowed by bigger games, like Metal Gear Solid. But I preferred this game to MGS. Ninja action at it's best. The graphics look terrible now , but it was fun as hell to play at the time.

I'm glad they are revealing details about things that happened during the time gap. I hope they reveal more next episode. And explain were the other old team members are. I really appreciate the attention to detail that this series has, Like with them revisiting the transfusion Ms Martian gave that boy, and it giving him shape-shifting powers. Also how when Ms. Martian was unconscious and the team lost the ability to understand the aliens. I also liked how realistic Superboy and Ms Martian's relationship turned out. They showed that "teenage love" doesn't always overcome all obstacles.
The Aqualad reveal was unexpected. I didn't see him going that route at all.
-Spoiler- I was/am hoping the whole thing is some kind of deep cover mission. Because he went from friend to cold blooded enemy easily. It was cool to see the entire Bat family working together. and the other heroes with their Jr. counterparts. And there is clearly something sinister going on with Ms. Martian.
I doubt if it's a deep cover mission. Unlike the comic version of this Aqualad, we don't know his back story and how he came to be allied with Aquaman. This version of Black Manta seems different from the comic version as well, as the comic version is a straight cold blooded and ruthless militant thug and this one seems to have ambitions towards being a king/conqueror from just the little they showed this episode. Clearly he sees & treats his son as his heir rather than just a tool for his schemes to destroy Aquaman/Atlantis unlike the comic version. And Black manta being promoted from "grunt villain" as he was in season one to part of the elite inner circle of "the Light" very nice touch in my book. As for Ms. Martian, I'd say it's her embracing her White Martian heritage since their use of their mental powers on others without regard for any harmful side effects it had on them is one of the things that places them in the evil ranks. I'm guessing she only does this with individuals she sees as being major threats & no other recourse open, so she as no qualms about harmful side effects, but I see where others, obviously such as Superboy, would find that somewhat questionable behavior.
Just beat Max Payne 3. Well worth the wait. I would love to see another one, but honestly, I think they've taken the series as far as it can go with Max's age. And just how much deeper in shit can Max get after this one?

-Spoiler possibly- I'm calling it, the real invaders are the White Martians. Those drooled out thugs are very similar to what Ms. Martian did to those little aliens. Also it would explain how some of the Ex-team members are acting so odd, because they have been replaced. Side note: it is cool to see Kid Flash and Artemis living together like a real young couple. Red Arrow's deterioration seemed very realistically handled. I hope fatherhood will snap him out of his pity party.
My bet is on it being the aliens who created the Blue Beetle scarab. Remember that one of the little yellow aliens, as well as Vandal Savage, mentioned something about "the Competitors" and the alien said he saw one of "the Competitors" agents on Earth referencing Robin, Lagoon Boy and Blue Beetle's invasion of their base. Plus this episode "the Partner" used a device that resembled the one Blue Beetle was using to communicate with the composite alien to destroy it.
That'll be a long wait, but if you have the money, purchase the 3DS and buy Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. It's a continuation of the story, leading to the third game.
Sweet! But you know what's funny? I saw Chain of Memories as a stand-alone PS2 game. It's just baffling that we get the short end of the stick and Japan manages to get the Final Mix versions, complete with extra quests and bosses and cut scenes. Still rides me with rage to this day. But the storyline sort of lost its mojo in a way. It makes sense to build on that story, but I don't know what they are going to do on the third installment.
I dunno Square-Enix seems to be dropping the ball lately. I wouldn't hold out any hope that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be worth the wait. I never played Dissidia But Square had a fighting game series a while back that I was crazy for Tobal No.1 & Tobal 2 (import)
They look like fun, but knowing that Square was the publisher and had some say so in the development, RPG elements kicked in with the Quest mode. The developers of the game, Dream Factory, developed The Bouncer for PS2. Hyped game, but not all that bad.
Didn't Birth by Sleep explained what happened to them? And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Aqua meet with DiZ in Another World?
Hahaha, good thing Square executives convinced Nomura to make the story more complex, otherwise we wouldn't have this discussion now. But hey, Final Fantasy Versus XIII could be coming your way, so look forward to that.
