Maybe since I gave up on serious debating I dont see it. Its looked really tamed lately from my perspective. I truly believe they'll be back
The individuals who have left aren't coming back. They may pop in to see what's going on from time to time but that all. Too much unneeded drama and disrespect was going down for the sake of "entertaining" a few and now we're seeing the end result of this and it's killing site participation. When you have new site members saying things like this : "I have only been here for a matter of months but i have to agree with this comment. Since i have seen that when someone jumps on people for what they have said because they dont agree. I have been scared to post for the fear of being got at!" Missykins ...that says it all. If a new member is seeing what's what then guess what the long time members are seeing?
They left before you gave that up. They are gone. Their impression of this placei is as it was the thick of the fighting and discord. People that were here for many years before you and then .........and now..........they leave.

Might just be me but isn't part of the reason people join forums in the first place is to interact with people who may see or experience things from a different perspective and get an understanding of how and why they have that point of view? I thought that went with broaden one's horizons and view of the world at large? :smt102
Really for #2?! Well I would say, I think there are pretty black women that exist! And to the OP (Galiant), there's nothing you can do. This is simply a consequence which results from the existence of social media. So I'd say, let it happen. You can meet women in person or online through other means.
Disagree without being disagreeable. Some people really lack social tact and don't give a fuck if their tone is off-putting or offensive. WHat goes among men as 'polite conversation' in my experience can be disgusting or uncivil to a woman. Dudes need to tone it down IMO. The point of every convo isn't to WIN. It should be to UNDERSTAND.8)
1) As long as you can express your opinions using actual reason & logic rather than conservative talking points and spin,then be republican all you like. 2) If you are into White women(for males) or Black men (for females) and plan on having kids or have them with one already, then hating on Black women or Black people as a whole is ignorant because guess what society will see your kids as? Black female or Black male especially if you have any features that are considered "Black". 3) Just an observation but I don't think anyone has come out and said they didn't agree with open marriage if both partners are cool with it and it is agreed to. Most of the people who usually bring up the topic seemed to have been people that like to cheat and are not even in an open relationship to begin with. 4) If you listen to Limbaugh and actually agree with his ignorance, then yeah you need your ass whipped.....

If I disagree with someone or just don't like their POV on something I'm not going to go out of my way to disrespect or belittle them (unless of course it's obvious that they are a troll here to stir shit). What one person sees or experiences may not be what another sees or experiences even if it's exactly the same circumstances or situation are occuring.
Well, people are error-prone, we aren't perfect. What happened to that Johnson guy for instance? I think he spent most of his posts talking about how white men and black women gave him grief over something. And at times, you use to believe that I was a troll. If I'm considered to be one, then it could be argued that plenty of other people here ones too. So I would say the term is overused, sometimes wrongly.
