There is lack of charm and good humor on the site, just a lot of mean-spirited attacks. The aggression was formerly between the men, not at the women. No one is particularly hot anymore, so the incentive for women to stay is even lower.
Personally, I have not been around due to the fact that I cant access this site from work, and I am rarely home, as I am with my man most of the time and he doesn't approve of me going on here as he thinks it is a pick up site.
Or a lot of the people on here found someone and found less time to post? DB found someone and bounced. Tarshi found someone and bounced. Jaisee found someone and doesn't post as much. Same thing with a lot of other posters. I think this place is usually buzzing when most of the people posting are single but with less single people less buzz. One thing I've noticed about this place is that people love to engage people they know they don't get along with and then call foul later. So I doubt its the drama that make people bounce since this forum usually thrives on it.
That's the way it appeared to me. DB announced she was dating someone new and after a few weeks left. Tarshi talked about the 33 year old dude she was dating and announced her retirement soon there after. As of late it has been really tame on here. No vicious back and forth as far as I've seen. And when you're with someone you have less free time so its understandable
This. I don't care how it appeared to you. If you don't know for certain how it is then it can appear any number of ways. And see above. Not true.
If you say so. All the in fighting didn't seem so unbareable when all these people were single and getting complimented on here. And would you stop being so quick to pop off. I just shared my thoughts I didn't assert them to be facts just speculation.
Not only a lot of women left or don't post anymore, also a lot of men, we've had a lot of fun with. You can find several excuses (busy, in a relationship), but this cannot be the reason for the amount of members leaving. Maybe they post less, but normally they come back from time to time. This place became uninteresting. Whenever I return , I have to read that unqualified, intolerant,offending, insensitive posts. That isn't entertaining or funny, but it's allowed and so this forum appears as a reflection of the hood, without niveau (I can say that, I was called like that before). There are quite a lot of serious, tolerant and interested men and women, but the "Gibbons" are simply too loud. The situation is as following: Do I want to waste my time by fighting and screaming with someone that is bored, calling my vis-a-vis this or that so that he can release his aggressions and frustrations-or do I use my time usefully? I assume many members have the same thought. The forum is dying as we know it- and many of the former members don't fit in here anymore. And Jordan- I ain't sure, whether our Gibbons don't talk like that in real life.
Date has never been the reason why I find this place exhausting, its the infighting, sexism and stupidity shown by certain posters.
I have only been here for a matter of months but i have to agree with this comment. Since i have seen that when someone jumps on people for what they have said because they dont agree. I have been scared to post for the fear of being got at!
Why not have a subforum where mild flaming is permissible the people who take themselves too seriously can stay out of it
