I saw stills from it...while first glance you might think for a second maybe ....it's just not her. The chick is a lot heavier and her nostrils are really thin, unlike Adele's, and she doesn't have Adele's strong cleft chin. Plus she looks to be in the back of a car and she's not even fully naked...

I like both Adele and Amy Winehouse. Both are the antithesis to the autotuned pop sound of today. Adele deserved to win the Grammys. I do agree with you that there are other singers such as Ledisi and Hil St. Soul who deserve equal attention. At least it is a start that real singers are coming back.

They never went away, we as music fans and the industry forgot about them for awhile.

Confessing your indifference to Adele is pretty much social suicide these days. I'll admit she's a great singer but her music is pretty derivative if you ask me. Plus she crossed into that sixth dimension of diva-dom where no man who call themselves a fan could ever be the same. I dig those third dimension divas like MJB, Beyonce, Keri Hilson (and of course your everyday petite-bourgeois white chick). Sixth dimension divas zap all the energy out of everything. She's Celine Dion status.
