That's just how his shit-eating mammy raised him.

Divorce rates in this country are embarrassing for whites....it would be even higher if not for the economic DEPRESSION.

I could see his point if the divorce rate amongst whites were low.

He is just another person selling another unnecessary book. Black women can figure out who to marry on their own if they really want to get married. From the interview the book seems useless.

Why are the networks so scared to just come and say black people are failures instead of making all these circus acts? It's not like they have any unity anymore to economically damage these companies.

Black women need to choose who they sleep with more wisely and exercise the use of protection much more since they ultimately deal with the burden of raising a child on their own.

Black men need to hold themselves and each other more accountable for their actions and stop running away from responsibility.

Old lover tried to hit me up after going off with someone else because she was willing to support his lazy ass, and I knew he was still with her - this is the sad stereotype - I went *click* - will NOT wind up as one of those pathetic statistics. Let her carry his second illegitimate child (if she can at her age) - it will NOT be me!!!:D I was careful and will continue to be until I meet the right man, if that day ever comes.

I have standards and pride - I take care of myself and will not cater to the kind of black men that this book was written about. I would rather be alone.

Yes, and perhaps if men held themselves responsible for the kids they create, those women wouldn't be raising them without assistance. Men should use protection so they don't create a passel of children they wont or cannot support or help raise.

Exactly - those men are incredibly immature - they know they will not be held accountable and the women will get support from the state - that's the problem. If there were a WAY to make them pay FOR SURE, these guys would be protecting themselves left right and center. But the women are pretty sloppy too - anyway they're getting a meal ticket. I protect my womb. I care who I bring into the world - haven't had a child yet because I will not make a baby with someone I don't love who can't support a child and won't live with me and make a family. Period. That magic formula hasn't happened yet, so I keep my womb protected. PERIOD. I don't know why more women aren't more careful with their bodies!!!!!

Don't worry about what I'm doing and be responsible for yourself.

I would hope a man would be responsible for taking care of his own sexual health, and for not creating children he does not intend to care for.

It's pretty skeevy behavior to assume that protection is all up to women, and truly disgusting behavior not to take care of children you bring into the world. That doesn't just mean financially - raising kids takes a lot more than money.

That's something a lot of people- men and women- forget.

It's not all about money. Sure, money can put a roof over the head and food on the table, but people forget that emotional health is just as important- if not MORE so- than physical health.

    Speak for yourself.

Memo from the Black Men of America: We don't give a fuck about your aging snatch; take it back across the color line. It will not be missed.

So you rather these media outlets steadily output their monthly black people ain't shit programs, putting us under a microscope, studying us like some lab animals all under the guise that they honestly care for blacks and really want to see blacks do better?

I'm just saying the spokesmen's for these companies with such poorly hidden agenda's just need to get their Kanye West on screaming "Black people ain't shit" be done and over with it.
