Is it a trend for the better ?

I was just in a thread called mal malloy and it has a woman with some serious curves. also we (the guys) have a thread dedicated to thick women.

question is it a trend that women are starting to embrace their curves ? why do you think this is happening ?

BTW ...I like women with curves. skinny to thick but i prefer thick (curvey) women. I like to the fullness in my arms (just me tho)

Absolutely. It's happening because curvy women are beautiful too and they're tired of the "Only thin people can be beautiful" myth. They're fighting back. And the men who love them just give them more confidence to celebrate their curves. The fashion industry is jumping on this bandwagon too, and finally understanding that plus-size does not mean "shapeless" or "matronly" and are producing flattering and sexy looks for curvy women.

To me, sexy comes in many different shapes and sizes.

Just a sidenote: There was a 3-part TV show on not long ago called "Big Sexy" about 5 plus-size women living and working in the fashion industry in NYC. (A couple of these women were the type you would find on Blackbull's BBW thread.) They decided to host a party and invited men (through a newspaper ad) and specifically invited men who liked bigger women. They "interviewed" responders (to weed out the weirdos) and, to their surprise, almost all of the men who responded were black men. Attractive, intelligent, educated, black men. Interesting.

 

oh yeah. I would have been in front of the line. to me its a great trend.

You have to remember that thick women were at one point in time, the IN thing regarding how to define the ideal woman. And we're talking way back in Roman times. Thick (or plump) women were considered desireable for aesthetic reasons as well as the child-rearing aspect.

So, I would think that generally, our views on beauty are no longer too narrowed and based on one thing. The more we appreciate, the more open our horizons are when it comes to sexual preferences based on thickness or curvy figures.

 

This is gonna sound harsh but I really don't care... it's not a good thing AT ALL.

Basically the BBW movement is promoting an unhealthy lifestyle. ANd the whole Big Beautiful Women slogan is a load of PC shit. These women arent "curvy" or "voluptuous"...they are fuckin FAT.

The United States is already filled with tons of fat & very unhealthy people to begin with, no need to encourage them even more (especially fat women)

For me, I love healthy, fitness oriented women (lean & inshape) that take care of themselves.

I don't think anyone/thing is promoting the BBW lifestyle, merely acknowledging that there are bigger women and giving them more fashionable options. And not all bigger women are unhealthy any more than all lean women are healthy.

Uhhhh I think you might have misread me. I said I didn't care if anyone was offended by MY POST.

And of course not ALL big women are totally unhealthy but A LOT of them are. If you have excessive fat around the midsection and other areas, that is very unhealthy.
