I am ALL about the dark skinned brotha's. The lightest I'd ever dated was my last ex, who was kind of a milk chocolate colour. The two before that were SUPER dark, almost midnight. If any of you have seen my posts of pictures of me with other black men, you'll have noted that they are all dark(friends & boyfriends). I dunno why but I'm just majorly attracted to the dark chocolate skin. Probably cuz I myself am so damn white - apparently most of the BM that love WW especially LOVE my skin cuz it looks like ivory to them(which I can't deny I love ). Don't worry, within the white culture, there are skin issues too...Not so much racism in the sense as it has been written here ...but I have DEFINITELY had my share of people comment about how pale I am, how come I don't tan, what's wrong with me, am I sick, etc. That whole greek goddess look that came into effect(thanks to Chanel). I laugh though cuz it means when i'm 50, I won't have as many wrinkles as they will
no... i thought they came in one...-_- i was making a damn response no need to jump all over me. or are u one of the light skinned bruh's mad b/cuz women like me like 'em dark? like wtf? & no i don't need a damn cookie. i never once said there was anything wrong with the light skinned bruh's I just don't tend to choose 'em much, & as it is, there isn't a lot here anyway. Most are darker toned as we have a huge african & caribbean community here.
I never thought much about it until a friend pointed out that most of the bm I've been with were dark. I love dark chocolate brothers; they are so yummy! Some of my favorites: Morris Chestnut Lance Gross Idris Elba Tyson Beckford Taye Diggs Denzel Washington Don't get me wrong, I have great appreciation for all the beautiful brothers out there!

Actually no, about the only time in the last several years was when I made a blanket comment about Conservatives. From then I only vilify Social Conservatives because their 19th Century stance is not in tune with Modern Reality. Back On Topic. The whole premise of this thread is ridiculous, last time I checked there was a backlash against Light-Skinned Brothers not those with dark skin and MTF screaming "The Blacker The Berry" nonsense. That's when I said I never got the memo either skin tone was out of favor, its in your fucking head if you believe that. Much like the overblown safety issues discussed elsewhere.
I never knew that they were in hiding or on hiatus. LOL. Well the media does hype a lof of stuff, but hey it's the media so most people know how they operate.
