Why I usually don't look at BBW

    I'm completely fine with any dating anyone. That wasnt my point.

    On THIS site, the females on here bitch and complain that fat/chubby/plus size women are "real women" and they are what the norm of sexy is. They use lame excuses like "well the avg American woman wears a size 16!" or shit like that. ANd then they bad mouth men's magazines like Maxim cause they only have slim,skinny models in them.

    Meanwhile on THIS site, the same females are drooling over chisled, musclar men with little to no body fat on them. All I was doing was calling out the hypocrisy. thats all;)

    And if I was a fat guy (which I am not thank goodness:smt023) and I would bitch and complain that "plus size"/teddy bear type of guys should be whats considered sexy...all while posting pics of skinny, in shape chicks, that would make me a hypocrite.

    Esp you're being unfair too because we all assert our own opinions based on personal experiences and I think he has a valid point. I don't lean one way or the other I'm just trying to be fair.

    Who says my mind hasn't changed on the subject. I just said earlier to each his own, its definitely a change from what I said before and as for your ridiculous assumption on what I worry about. I'm unemployed and I donate 20 dollars worth of food to the salvation army every two weeks to help out with the hunger problem. I also tutor kids in math and teach chess. I'm very involved in trying to help some of these young bm so hold your tongue kid. You have no clue as to what I do offline.
    And this discussion like religion or politics are mine to indulge in. Those topics always come at a dead end but no one says we shouldn't discuss them. In short I talk about whatever the fuck I want to talk about if you don't like it then don't part take. Simple enough right?

    I think your point was to stir up some shit. I don't know what your attitude toward the women on this site is about, but it sucks. The only bitching I hear from these ladies is about the insensitive & rude "men" who are always talking shit about them, and comparing them to the skinny models who are supposedly the "norm" either to make them feel bad about themselves or to build themselves up. Who wouldn't have an issue with that? (Thankfully most of the men here don't behave that way.) We understand that men don't appreciate that shit either, and we don't compare you guys to the pictures posted on here & in magazines. Btw, the average American woman is a size 14, 130-160 pounds & 5'4" tall.

    Both men & women like to "drool" over exceptionally beautiful-looking people & there is nothing wrong with that. Perfection is a fantasy & it's a fantasy we all enjoy. This doesn't mean we have hypocritical & unrealistic standards when it comes to the people we love. I enjoy looking at Playgirl, but to me a real man that I can love & touch & hold & who loves me is a million times sexier than any model I've seen. I'm not looking for a six pack & buns of steel because that's not what ultimately makes someone sexy. Sexiness is the state of mind & attitude a person has. There is nothing sexy about arrogance or superficiality. The truth is WE ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL IN OUR OWN RIGHT & we shouldn't give a damn about the opinions of those who don't think we are.

    My suggestion is let the negative attitude go, because the only purposes it serves are to create misery & alienate people. I don't think that's really what you want. Also, if you dislike it here so much, you don't have to stay. It's all on you, man.

    fantastic post and i agree with all. unfortunately, you will get the response about it's all full of shit, and you're being untrue about not wanting the 6 pack and perfection etc. let them believe what they want and move on me thinks...they're not going to change their minds and all we'll get out of this is more negativity

    I am not being unfair Andrae. You can have an opinion based upon anything you like, but to say that all other opinions are irrelevant or false just because that hasn't been your personal experience is illogical and ignorant. I never said he couldn't have his opinion, or that it was invalid, I said it's narrow minded and IMO it is. Note I said IMO...

    I also think the reason people are asking Iggy why he posted what he did is because he's posted it many times before, we're all aware of his opinion on the matter, yet he chose to bump this thread after it had been discussed thoroughly and none of the women had made the comments he used as examples anytime recently. Makes you wonder why bump it just to restate your opinion?

    Yeah I know. I just had to get it out, though. It's baffling to me how so many people spend so much time looking for something that isn't real. They set standards that no one could measure up to yet complain that their fantasy person doesn't exist. There are times I think it goes beyond simply not being realistic. I think most of it comes from insecurity & fear. People are afraid that they won't measure up, so they have unrealistic expectations of others that no one could possibly live up to. This protects them from having to put themselves out there & chancing the rejection they fear could happen.

    He keeps complaining about “women on this site” over and over again. If he doesn’t like the “women on this site”, then he can either ignore them or he can exit this site just as easy as he got here. It’s almost as if he gets off on having something to complain about or he just wants someone else to be as miserable as he is.

    Misery loves company but nobody likes a sore loser.
