starting to like country music

Not a fan of country at all but I do have to stick up for it here.

A lot of folks view country music as ignorant KKK type shit. I completely disagree. From all the songs I've heard, its normally about them singing about love or drinking or grillin out or something lol. While Rap music glorifies murdering people, selling drugs, doing drugs, treating females like shit, name dropping European brands(that wouldnt want anything to do with hiphop in the first place) and using anti-gay remarks.

I dont see any of that type of garbage featured in country music videos or songs for that matter.

 

exactly...then on top of that If i cant listen to the music with my kids then something is wrong

 

Old School Country

My father played in bands most of my childhood. He played a mix of country and rock. So, I have a lot of fond memories from country songs. Here are a few of my favorite singers and bands.

I enjoy country music...

...in fact if you love blues and (real) R&B music how can you not like country.

 

I enjoy Blues, old school RnB and Bluegrass, I adore Johnny Cash - todays Country Music in general - not so much. Cant explain it, It just is.

 

Instrumentally and vocally, it's just not very interesting. They tell good stories, just they aren't very interesting to me.

I had to hear that shit on the radio every single day in weight training in 10th grade. Wanted to punch the shit outta Nelly and Tim.

I agree...country,like the R and B, neo soul and the blues and lets not forget jazz does tend to touch that deeper side of you.

 

Honestly, it was a good song, but I when you hear it 1 or 2 times a day for 2 semesters......I just wanna hit something. It wasn't as bad as that annoying ass Nina Sky song "Move Your Body". FAHK!!!!
