I don't really care. If there's one thing I've learned about people like yourself it's that you don't believe in chronological order. If harsh things are said about somebody else people like yourself can easily dismiss it because it wasn't said about you. And you also believe the best way to fix things is to weaken the wrong side, throw their supporters under the bus and go with the asshole who is playing the victim for just a mere moment. I've encountered that crap all my life from people like you. You dismiss the fact that these guys started this. All I did was tell what happened to me when I was in high school.

The fact that multiple people "called bullshit" on a personal story is ridiculous. And then it was cosigned by my husband who was THERE. Still those same disagree-for-disagreement's sake types continued on. Including Iggy -- who I've called troll since he got here since YOU were so adamant that he was one.

Now that little bitch follows me around from thread to thread disagreeing with me for the hell of it, and you're in here talking about who is motivated by emotion. You talk of intelligence, but Andrae posts nothing but chatter, never backs up anything, never even bothers to look up a point before posting about it. Nikon's rough & honest, just like the fuck I am. If you don't like how he talks it's only because your ass lies when you say you like how I talk. What happened to us in high school reminds of what happened to a group of young Black men who were in Chicago on the school trip and weren't allowed in to a venue because they had on sagging pants. Even tho all the White male students had on sagging pants as well. So the White male students and the Black male students put two and two together and they figured out it was discrimination. So the White male students went back there with sagging pants and whatever hip hop gear, and were let in immediately. So what's the difference? It was their experience. They had to go overwhelmingly out of their way, however, to prove that it was true. That's what Nikon ended up having to do, coming in and going so far as to post teacher's names. Some people are so defensive about the existence of discrimination that we can't fight it, because we waste time reproving its existence. Wouldn't it be lovely if just once people were simply interested in working to improve things, to reduce inequality, to address the problem rather than constantly heckling the messengers?

And for your information, the reason why Andrae got blasted down to nothing by Nikon36 was because of all that fucked up shit that he said to me. How he could think that he could talk that much shit to me and then carry on a conversation with someone who already mentioned going to high school with me is a mystery. People need to take personal responsibility for their own assholishness. Nikon didn't start this. But he did a heck of a job finishing it.

Second, your husband going after anyone because they said something to you in an online forum astounds me. You make it sound like Andrae just attacked you with no provocation, and that's not what happened. There were two people verbally sparing in that thread, you gave as good as you got in my opinion. If you intend to make personal comments about people, you shouldn't be shocked to have them made about you, that goes both ways.

Third, people know discrimination exists. But sometimes the message gets lost in the delivery. The way some people have been delivering their message in this thread makes it really unlikely anyone will take them seriously and listen. Telling it like it is may call attention to the problem, but it in no way facilitates a solution, and when telling it like it is includes degrading anyone with an opposing POV, you severely handicap yourself and undermine your own credibility.

Fourth, I can see you are correct about there being no point in posting to each other. I'm putting you on ignore now, I encourage you to do the same.

No he really didn't. He talked about a personal situation which sounds like it sucked but you guys convientally ignore the African and Caribbean examples that myself Reggie and Iggy have brought up. America has a notorious history of xenophobia and racism and you would think a country that hates blacks and immigrants so much would never allow forgein black people to ever do well. They would be one in a million but that isn't the case, a large number come here and do better than black people that have been here for centuries. I don't ever want to make light of the instituional racism that deters and in some cases completely derails the advancement of black people but we have to stop complaining and start getting to work. I'm not saying it will be easy not by a long shot but it is doable. There were many who came before us who dealt with far more and came from less but manged to make a good life for themselves. We don't have Jim Crow we don't have slavery for the most part we are just unwilling to look out ourselves and see the real problem.
