Drafting Tim Tebow in the first round = dumbest damn move in the history of professional football.

    Good Fucking Luck, Mcdaniels!

Either that, or Mel Kiper and the other so-called experts were wrong on both of them. I don't think any Notre Dame QB has been impressive in the NFL since Joe Montana. Rick Mirer, Blair Kiel, Brady Quinn, and now Clausen.

Some were saying Tebow wouldn't even get drafted, and he went in round 1.

Only time will tell who was right and who was wrong.

Remember, many thought Ryan Leaf was the better choice of Peyton Manning...

I was optimistic about how high LaMichael James would go but you can learn a lot in championship games where a Pac10 team plays a SEC team. SEC linebackers are not only bigger but about as fast. Much closer to what you expect in a NFL defense.

I hate to say it, but your right. The way college football goes right now, the SEC is as much a sure bet to get drafted as any. I will say that the Pac-10 has a few feeder schools for the LB position as well, such as USC. 2 years ago, in Pete Carroll's last season as coach, it had it's starting 3 linebackers go in the first round: Brian Cushing, Clay Matthews and Rey Maualuga. Brian Cushing was defensive rookie of the year, and Clay Matthews could easily be argued as one of the best playing right now. Rey maualuga is nothing to shake your head at either.
