The Footwear Appreciation Thread

I know that was hard FG, but just think - you're making room for more cute shoes and clothes to come.

I need to go through my clothes and get rid of stuff.

 

I am moving soon to a smaller place. I am sure I will have to purge to fit everything so I will be down some. It will be good though as if I dontate someone else can use the clothes etc I dont wear so much.

 

I just did my shoe count. I have 60 pairs of shoes. At first, I thought that I just had 59. Then, I remembered my emergency pair of flip-flops in the car for pedicure days. LOL I actually had more than I thought. When I started thinking about the average amount that I spend on a pair of shoes, it almost made me sick when I did the math.

 

It was hard when I parted with a lot of pairs, but apparently since I now didnt even remember that I somehow have gotten rid of over 20 pairs, it could not have been that hard

That will do it, a reason is needed sometimes to purge. I agree, someone else get the chance to wear them.

Now you went and did it - I have two flip-flops in the car for that - so now Im up in 56!!! darn it.. time to purge again???

 

wow you all own alot of shoes, i have 7 pairs and one of them is my trainers ( only worn in the gym )

Its the first year i bought some sandals actually i must say first time after years bought with no heels ...don't wear this often just in the mornings
so its not something usualy wear

 

I understand it can't be heels all the time! I prefer a simple pair of flip-flops on women, but that's just my taste. When the Roman style came along I was like WTF. Esp. the gold ones. I don't think they're flattering at all. Yours are nice though for that style. Again, just me.

 

Seriously? Yuck, I detest flip-flops. If I have to wear flats, which fortunately I rarely do, I want them to be something reasonably attractive. I'd rather be barefoot than wear basic flip-flops, but my preference would be to just stick with heels.

 

some flip-flops are nice but they do hurt my toes a lot and after 5 minutes i can not walk anymore this was the only i found that was comfortable

ok i posted this before but i didn't wanted to end this here with some sandals
i will post when i get new shoes ..mostly will be boots

My favourite also not only because are nice but because my feet stay there and don't go forward as most of my shoes
