Not usually, unless it comes up in conversation for whatever reason, but no, I wouldn't feel the need to tell people that I have a Black BF.. I've never had someone tell me the race of their BF/GF unless we happen to be talkng about race issues etc.

It's not really a big deal.

And I never said there werent threads about black men on here, and those
women who participate in those threads Im not even talking about. I said there arent any complaints the other way with black men loving them some white women. I simply saying overall there is plenty of love for white women in this country, so there is no problem with white women showing love for black men. And thats the bottom line I was trying to make here, even though I believe Amanda Bynes is just more fascinated with black men THAN attracted making those comments, there is and shouldnt be no problem with someone expressing love for black men. Some of the comments are excessive.

I agree with you both. I see no reason why you would ever need to say 'I've been seeing a black man', versus 'I've been seeing someone'. It's not something that I would ever feel the need to point out.

I spent a good 25 minutes today trying to remind my husband who Amanda Bynes was. I even showed him the opening music & credits to "What I Like About You", which we watched a few times back in the day. He has no memory of this at all, and accused me of leading a secret double life (LOL). Finally I showed him some youtube clips from HairSpray, and so now he kinda remembers her.
