Even Hitler hated the Cubs

    Well..... the spoken and the written are not quite the same... so knowing German......... the joke is not there.

    LOL, that is kind of the point, the dialogue does not match up to the translated words on purpose. The idea that Hitler is ranting about the Cardinals vs. the Cubs is the funny part.

    Great movie though, "Downfall", very gripping portrayal of the last days in the Hitler bunker

    True that.Hitler was definitely a not so funny person and seeing this scene and hearing the rather serious words..war strategies etc and then seeing the text...
    I do understand the funny part because they added a text that matches the facial expressions shown in the clip.....
    but when you're german and understand each single word they talk that makes it a whole less funny.
    I understand the joke.. but it's nothing that would make me pee in my pants or fall off my chair laughing
