What's going on with you?

I had a date with a psycho last night. It lasted only one hour. It scared the hell out of me. Should I write on my forehead that I'm a social worker only mon-fri (morning) ?

Well, it's "only" Aug 8th and summer has finally hit Chicago. It's only about 85 degrees outside, but the humidity....my God the humidity!!! It feels like 100 degrees.

Needless to say, my daughter and I are spending the majority of the day inside. LOL.

As for me, I went to the park and played soccer with my siblings, (my younger brother has moved home from Philadelphia) it was the funniest match as my brother tends to be quite the comedian. So we decided to make it a no rules game for the girls,,, and so everytime the ball came my way I picked it up and ran for it with my younger sister as my gaurd...... I don't know what hurt the most, all of the laughing or the running. We all then went back to my place for a nice lunch. It was a fun day.

 

I had a great day today. I went shopping with my niece and spent a tonne of money. Then I went to my other nieces soccer match.

The three of us then hung out, went to McDonalds :vom: followed by Dairy Queen, and then home to watch a movie.

We listened to some great music and did really goofy dancing in the lounge.

Tomorrow I have a lunch date with my dad. :smt055

Only a few days left and trying to pack it all in.

 

What's the reason that your college student status means instant denial for any help from the health and human resources department? Do they say why? Would you be able to talk to anyone at your school about your situation and the help you need since you're being denied help because you're there?

 

Well I am still trying to make it work with my husband. Things are getting better and we are seeing a Psychologist. I am still very much taking it day by day however and I go through my wanting to leave and wanting to stay phases. I hate being so uncertain. But as long as he is making a good effort I am willing to make a go of it.

I was going to head to LA today but I have a couple of appointments to check out some cars so I am going to try and make it to LA tomorrow, to check out some sights up there. Should be fun!

For the second time we went again today to see the specialist for what the problem with my son.. for his skin and found that he have a very high allergies
and not one.... some are Animals like cats and dogs, grass, Almonds, dust mite,oysters also and few more but not very high.

 

Wow I'm sorry to hear that. But there is medicine for that right?

 

She gave us some pill some for day and night also and cream ... atleast he wont be itchy all the time and help a little but will always will be a problem

well good we know now but the 3 high is very difficuld to avoid
the ones with food its not bad

good for you bean! i hope it turns out to be what you want longterm in your life...i always thought that owning a home would be such a great idea but now i really want to go back to renting...bottomline, a person never really owns their home until the mortgage is completely paid off to the bank...in the meantime, we are all renting...just one problem as the mortgage holder you get to pay for all repairs and upgrades...i so want to be able to call the landlord and say...i need a new ____ and can you send the fix it man to repair the ____

you are buying at a perfect time...hopefully you are getting the deal of the century...i have a house that now is not worth the amount owed on the mortgage...so much for transition neighborhoods...

I may never own property again. For all of the reasons you've said. If I do, it won't be for many years. I have absolutely zero interest in buying any kind of property at this time.

Renting has its advantages, but also has its disadvantages (can't really paint the walls, etc). Much to the chagrin of my family, who thinks that you are throwing money away by renting, I've realized that owning a home probably isn't for me at this particular time.

Brit - sorry, still haven't got to reply to your email I've been a busy little bee trying to get homework done, and neglecting my gmail. But yeah...I've just been told that being a college student here instantly knocks you out of all government help, unless you're pregnant, or have kids.

 

I bought my first vibrator today, well it got delivered today. It's big and black! Wish me luck.
