I just got hired today for a position at Prudential running their computer systems and network. It's a part time contract, but i'm sure if i do a good job they will hire me on full-time. More than anything though, i'm happy to finally get some experience to put on my resume. All i had was college coursework, but without real, on-job experience, i was behind the 8 ball. So, this is definitely a good break for me.:smt001
Thanks J! It's actually in Edwardsville Illinois, which is good because it's close to where i'm currently staying with my sister. After i finish the contract for this job and get some much needed experience, i'm gonna head back up North to Chicago and go from there. That helpdesk position in the United Center sounds like something great to have on my resume as well, so it would be awesome if that came through for me after i get done with this one.
Damn, the setting on my Kenwood deck are all fucked up. I hate when dumbasses fumble around with the shit they don't know how to use. Fuck. I don't have a manual for the deck either.
Ha, ha! I love this. If you only knew...the things that you consider to be problems will fade into blips on your life's radar as you age. I am not laughing at you, I am humourously looking at myself many years ago. Would you be upset if I suggested that you change your name to "Lil' Brotha Ajax" ?
I got me a job!! EH-PIC NUTTY!!!!!!!!! I hope he meant monthly when he said "monthly". This pays pretty good too, AND the dude drops 200 extra for gas money.
We got flooded yesterday also. Quite the storm, 4,000 lightning strikes around the airport in one hour. Someone said 70.000 passengers stranded yesterday/today.
Congrats, it's good to hear that young people are finding work, an indicator that the recession may be nearing its end.
Bored. Think I might make a beat. Like a remake of Midnight Star's "Curious" like Warren G did for "This DJ". Or a remake of Tom Browne's "Funkin' for Jamaica" like EA-Ski and Battlecat did.
