This thread for example, is filled with moments of luminescence(my posts) separated by pools of empty space(your post). "One should do well to brighten where there is already luminescence":The webmaster clearly brightened an already "bright" post only to fill the void that is your post. webmaster: youre a fucking genius....i actually LAUGHED OUT LOUD on that one.....
I thought geniuses could use correct punctuation and grammar? Am I wrong? Anyone can manipulate online IQ tests and most of them aren't that accurate. Anyway, wow at that little girl! I saw this on BBC News the other day. God, she is the same age as Jacob and he can barely talk! She is so cute.
Speaking of Geniuses: I read somewhere a long time ago, than in order to be considerered a Genius, one's IQ much reach or surpass 200 and it was even a question in the Travial Pursuit, Genius II Edition Christopher Michael Langan (born c. 1952) is an American autodidact whose IQ was reported by 20/20 and other media sources to have been measured at between 195 and 210 and he was a bouncer making $6000 a year. A bouncer with a higher IQ higher than Sir Isaac Newton, Einstein and Blaise Pascal. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Langan 190 - Sir Isaac Newton 171 - Blaise Pascal 160 - Albert Einstein World Chess Champion Garry Kasparov is alleged to have an IQ of 190.
Hahaha, Webbiejonmaster is the bomb. Anyway, have those quills and little sheets of paper always been on the Quote button? :smt017 And the scissors and little sheet of paper on the Edit button?
Sarahs.....i agree that Online IQ tests don’t hold much water(to an extent) But get this: you've stated previously that your IQ is 121 based on a professionally administered test at your school. I then asked you to take this test>>>http://www.gabumba.com/test/index.php?site=stats&id=757 and you scored within that range. You also scored in the same range on this test>>>http://www.highiqsociety.org Three tests giving you close to the same results…..what does that tell you??
Nothing. Q.I: stuff might be bullshit. There are a lot of other theories about human intelligence. I like Howard Gardner's theory (wich I don't need to explain to you, since u a psycology expert, LOL). 162 of Q.I. doesn't tell NOTHING about a person, oh my ideal man, oh love of my life.
lol ... Naaa. Though some people get the wrong impression sometimes on this forum. I see myself more as a referee (I used to own a sports officiating business) than some totalitarian "webmaster" that's always looking over people's shoulders and butting into people's business. I've always hated that on other forums I've participated in and don't do it here. I don't even really like the webmaster handle. I don't see (but can understand) why some people are paranoid that I'm reading all their chat conversations (& private chats/reputation comments), but I'm really not interested in all that - unless people complain or it impacts the business model of this site. *Though there was a personal incident that made me do it once or twice in the past. As I've said in the past, if someone has an issue with me or the way I run the forum, then they can post it publicly and take me to task. I've only banned people for blatantly going outside the guidelines. Sometimes people get caught up in the moment and just need to sit back and take a breather, and then present their arguments in a thoughtful way. So, in this case, I just tried to lighten things up a bit between a few verbal combatants.
There are a number of people on both sides of my family with very high IQs. They've ordered everyone else, all their children & grandchildren etc, never to take one. They're a very limited form of testing, they don't measure enough different parts of intellectual ability, and they lead to REALLY REALLY REALLY stupid arguments. So I'll never know what my IQ is. As a result, I just assume by default that I'm smarter than everyone else. :yawinkle::lol:
The whole 'I'm smarter than you" leaves me kinda cold. But I have never been one to compete with other people.
That's exactly what I was saying. Gardner thinks there are 7 kinds of intelligence and everybody has some of them more developed than others. I.Q. Doesn't measure that. Limited.
