    Jamal, you obviously know your comics. I still think Mr. Cage made an impression on you. Speaking of impressions, and connecting comics and the purpose of this site, anyone remember this mag by Don McGregor?

    I was heavily influenced by it when I picked it up in college circa 1982. I saw myself as this guy:

    Dude, whn I started taking more interest in seaching for black characters I purchased a couple of old issues of Sabre. That was probably the first "adult" or "mature" comic that I ever got.
