Sometimes it has A LOT to do with the wife. Not in every case obviously ( I never said it did) but the wives should not be automatically ruled out. Same goes if the wife is cheating, the husband could be at fault.

I don't know, but murder and infidelity is like comparing apples to oranges.

This is an excellent point. The judgement lies with the individual absolutely. But when the two people got married they both agreed, often before their God, that they would honour, love, respect and be FAITHFUL to each other. So when one of those spouses steps out, they are breaking those vows and dishonouring themselves, their spouses and frankly the person they are cheating with.

The single person in the equation (the Other) lives with their own value system as you have mentioned. But the couple have agreed on a value system and have made the agreement legal.

If we all decided to have just a free for all in all aspects of our lives, not just sex, then imagine the state, country world we would live in. I personally do not want to live in a free-for-all because I need to know that certain things that I hold sacred will be respected by those I bring close to me. I couldn't live happily by watching my back because someone is eyeballing my stuff, my body, or my spouse and will take it because they don't share the same morality as I have.

So let me get this stright......The husband is having a bad month at wk. Two kids at home. The wife is not giving him any but twice a week because she wk from home and one of the kids is 13 months old so she is always tired. The husband understands but is still stressed from work and no sex and you don't know this but can since somthing. So you start to hit on him and work on him and a month later after a blow up about money with his wife he gives in and finally to you. His wife finds out leaves him and the kids now have a broken home with no dad and you don't see what you contributed to the problem? Really

    Really?????

Like I said before, someone has been telling you how the wife is too blame, and he's got you pretty well persuaded apparently. I fail to see where the WIFE is EVER to blame as he would be better off with a divorce, if he wants to GET it elsewhere. That's the honorable thing to do. She may be to blame for the cause of a divorce, but NEVER for his infidelity!!:smt063

I fail to see the banker example to the topic at hand.

I never said I am or want to be the other woman. I was talking hypothetically and also from what I've witnessed with my own eyes in my own family. You know people really shouldn't judge others FYI.

And, obviously if I or any other woman wants a relationship she would not get involved with someone that is taken. The original comment I made was some women that want to just have no strings fun then the married man would make a good choice to THEM because there is no possibility of a relationship or anything serious developing. That would be true.

And the point I was trying to make is that don't automatically blame the "other woman" but obviously EVERY woman does regardless of anything else. That, hun, is what I don't and will never understand.

I have a story to share. The "Married Redneck" story.

I was once at my local hotel which has a bar. So I'm sitting at the bar, minding my business. Totally didn't think I'd meet anyone that night, because it was dead.

So I'm sitting there and I had my glasses on. All the way on the other side of the bar, pretty far from me, there was a man, a good-looking man with a wedding band on. I couldn't help noticing the gold shining so bright. He didn't see me - yet.

Five minutes later, someone right behind me says, with a strong southern accent: Excuse me, may I join you for a drink? I turn around, and it's the same man, BUT the wedding ring is gone.

So we have a couple of drinks together, and the man is definitely in the mood for some fun, as he is staying at the hotel alone on business and has a room upstairs. Somehow we got on the subject of kids, and he said with excitement that he has two adorable little boys. But then he remembered that he's not married. So he said, "My ex-wife is a bitch." And I thought, "that wasn't even necessary. Don't bring the wife into this, please."

I enjoyed my drinks and his company, but didn't let him kiss me. I went on my merry way home, and was quite entertained. I told my friends the story of the Married Redneck many times, to their great enjoyment.

Well ofcourse no one's signed on. Why would anyone back someone who is so morally deficient and politically incorrect ?!

And any female in her right mind would never dare say she'd do anything that pleases her and heaven forbid not automatically blindly back the "poor innocent wife". Where's my scarlet letter ?
